Sexual Healthcare Resources

San Diego Unified School District's Sexual Health Education Program is funded by a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Division of Adolescent and School Health (CDC DASH). Our effective evidence-basededucation and prevention strategies aim to increase the health, academic success, and overall well-being of our students. Comprehensive sexual health education is implemented in grades 6, 8, and high school. All curricula follows CA Education Code requirements, including new topics required by the CA Healthy Youth Act, and has been reviewed and approved by our program's advisory committee.

Since 1963, Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest has been providing confidential, comprehensive, high-quality medical services to the communities of San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial counties. Family Health Centers of San Diego is always seeking opportunities to provide high-quality and affordable health care to individuals in need. In an effort to better serve teens and young adults, Teen Health Center is moving to City College of San Diego.

This new location, central to the students of City College and nearby San Diego High School, will create a greater access point to health care for teens and young adults (ages 12-24).

Available services include medical exams, sick visits, birth control, peer counseling, pregnancy testing, STD and HIV screening and treatment, sports physicals and vaccinations.

All teens and young adults are welcome, including Medi-Cal, Covered California, private insurance and uninsured patients.
